In 1988, as sweethearts in highschool we began our
journey in life and united as one. Blanca studied business management
and I, graphics design. With our talents, we set out to see what would
be our nitch in the world and began conquering our dreams and goals.
On August 15, 1996, we opened our first business
venture, Tiny Tots Academy. A Discovery Preschool, which I uniquely
designed with children’s needs in mind. Blanca and I put all our
efforts and hard work into Tiny Tots Academy and have grown to become
well know, respected and highly recognized as one of the top preschools
in our community.
On May 10, 2001, 19 years after first met, we
found out we were having a baby. You can imagine the excitement, after
waiting what seemed like a lifetime for this precious miracle of ours,
it seemed like every bit of news we got we made into a huge
celebration. On July 30, 2002 we had our first sonogram and we our
first
overwhelming glimpse of our
baby. As the moving visuals were coming over the monitor
screen, the words I thought
and were, “That’s My Brat”, which shortly after
became the name
of our second business
venture, a baby boutique the was inspired by our little one.
While looking for a frame to display
our first sonogram picture, we were frustrated that we could
not find exactly what we
wanted to display our growing bundle of joy. That’s all it took
for me to
design my own frame to not
only display but also conserve what will be one of the most
precious memories a parent
could have.

was born.
